The Boats, a 24' Ranger bayboat, or a 17' Maverick flats skiff, very comfortable, roomy and easy to load and unload the kayaks. The Captains, Capt Paul Hunt and Capt. Xavier Figueredo are both extremely personable, talented, knowledgeable and patient captains. They are both U.S. Coast Guard licensed, insured and are permitted by Everglades National Park to conduct fishing charters within its boundries.

Once you get to the edge of the No Motor Zones (NMZ) and the motor shuts off, we'll unload the kayaks, secure the boat and ready the gear to be transported into the kayaks for the fishing to begin.

Then, off you go.....you and your guide will go into the areas of the Everglades that so few have seen before. The No Motor Zones (NMZ) are a special place to experience shallow water fishing as well as much more of what the Everglades has to offer. It's very common to see crocodiles, alligators, waterfowl such as Roseate Spoonbills, Osprey, Pelican, Cormorants, Anhingas, White Pelican, Wood Storks, Egrets, and Heron, just to name a few species.

This is not like other advertised kayak fishing trips within Everglades National Park, where you load into a 'mother ship', travel 15-20 minutes, get booted out of the boat and into your kayak and the captain picks you up 4 hours later for a return ride home. You paddle into isolated areas that are prohibited to power boats, your captain stays with you the entire day, you enjoy an hour and a half boat ride home and can plan on being out for 6-8 hours of the day. A truly unique and enjoyable way to enjoy fishing and the remote regions of Everglades National Park
